At Lumens Photography we take photos to reflect your personality, life and emotions. It is a memory that you will cherish forever. Photographing newborns, children, couples, christening and pets is a typical day's work for us. We also love to do arty and themed photoshoots to give you that edge in marketing and modelling. If you have an idea, however outrageous it may sound, let us know and we can work to achieve it.

location
Each portrait session is individual, and we try and keep this atmosphere by matching it with a suitable location. This may be at the beach, in the park or even inside your own home. For family and and children, we capture the spontaneous, innnocent and heartwarming moments. We will bring out these moments in a child by creating an environment that is fun and stimulating, developing a rapport and allowing the child to express himself/herself without the restrictions of clinical studio lighting, posing and traditional backdrops.
We also have a studio set up with lighting equipment for model portfolio work. Our lighting in the studio is clinical with a focus on natural looking shadows that enhance a model's features.

For family and children's portraiture, we always try to shoot with natural, ambient light to accentuate warm and soft colours. When the lighting is poor we will introduce our own. For model shoots, we can either shoot on location, or in our fully lit studio to your own themes and ideas.

Our portrait session will usually take around two hours from the first capture. Editing will be completed within three days after which images can be selected for print.
We also offer a pro-lab reprint service where we can provide the very highest quality prints colour corrected and delivered to your door.
